A Job that makes you happy?

Hey guys, its been a while since I’ve made one of these honest posts and this topic is something that at the moment has been making me frustrates and unhappy. Finding a job that makes me happy or creating my own.

Have you ever felt like you can and want to do a little of everything and that you are good at a ton of things? Yes? well so do I. I’ve found myself in a bit of a pickle in the sense that I am already 28 and have no clue where to direct all my energy and creativity towards and make a living out of it. What I do know is that I am inclined to doing something that has to do with art, creativity and design, what I don’t have is a sense of direction, marketing or money to start to even experiment on things till they work out.

The ideal thing would be to just say I want, and have… but, this is real life and things don’t happen that easily and we have to work on figuring ourselves out and find our north. For some is just as easy as to get a job and do it and live a miserable work life, for others their path has been clear their whole lives, and then there is the kind like me, who is stuck in limbo with a ton of talent waiting to come out.

Hope you are the kind that has their future figured out and wish me luck on my journey to finding the job that will make me wake up everyday excited to start my day.

Mini Summer Vacation+Huge Salad Bar

Hey you guys! Last weekend I had the most amazing time in Punta Cana at this hotel called Dreams Punta Cana! It was amazing! It had a ton of vegan friendly food and drinks, the pool has Hugeee and it was super pretty and clean!  Here is a little video and pictures of my trip! ❤️

Discrepancy in package deal products.

Hey guys! Today I wanted to write about something that has always sparked curiosity in me on how these companies think when selling their products. When I say package deal I am referring to those products in which you are sold a pack that includes 2 or more containers with products in which one acts on the other or one needs to be used after the other. Yeah cool , thanks for making it easier for us and selling them like that! But why if I am meant to use both products simultaneously, they don’t contain the same amount of product or the equivalent of its usage! For example:

Bleach and their developers, am I the only one who is always left with half of the creme bleach? I bet not. Same with teeth treatments, hair treatments, etc etc etc… So what is up with that? Any logical explanation?

If you know let me know in the comments below!

Much love!

Summer is for being Naked.

Well… since my body is not completely fit, I’ll limit the bare nakedness to just my face. If you follow me on twitter you’d already know that I’ve been wanting to take more care of my skin and investing more on my skin care products rather than make up since I’m aiming to achieve a flawless (or close to it) skin.

It’s no secret and I fell like it should be common knowledge that the better the canvas the better the painting, right? well this is true. There is nothing that look prettier than a foundation that sits beautifully on perfectly smooth skin. I know I know, it is hard to get and sometimes as years go by and we grow older we are left with scaring from our teenage breakouts and pigmentation from being exposed in the sun. Well ladies, is time to work on those!

I’ve been studying my behavior for a while to know what is breaking me out from now and then AND why my skin feels heavy and clogged sometimes. After a while I noticed that i touched my face with my dirty dirty hands  A LOT and that my face wash was to thick for my skin and not removing all the makeup. Also the inevitable period (I hate it so much) that happens monthly gets those hormones going and break me out. so I figure that the better prepared was the quicker those bad boys will go.

As I did my research I noticed I was skipping a good lot of steps and it was mainly because I didn’t really know what was what and when to use them. So here is what I found out I should be using:

FACE WASH: is to remove deeper seated debris and also cleanse pores, thanks to its foaming action. If you’re wearing a lot of makeup, or have been exposed to a lot of dust and pollution, it might be a good idea to use a cleanser first, before using a face wash.

CLEANSER: is a facial care product that is used to remove make-up, dead skin cells, oil, dirt, and other types of pollutants from the skin of the face. This helps to unclog pores and prevent skin conditions such as acne.

TONER: In cosmetics, skin toner or simply toner refers to a lotion or wash designed to cleanse the skin and shrink the appearance of pores, usually used on the face. Toners can be applied to the skin in different ways: On damp cotton wool. (This is the most frequently used method.)

FACIAL SCRUB: can make your skin feel beautiful, youthful, soft, and glowing. Unlike a regular soap or cleanser, a facial scrub uses small particles, beads, or chemicals to get rid of the old skin cells and make way for new ones in a process known as exfoliation.

MOISTURIZER: For oily skin, moisturizers can still be useful after activities causing skin dryness, such as other skin care products and washing.[1] For oily skin, water-based moisturizers that are specifically non-comedogenic are preferable, as there is less risk of comedo formation.[1]

These above are on my to buy list! and you can find them all at FARFETCH.COM I am loving this site, it gives you all the information on the products you are going to buy so that you are completely sure of what you are going to get!

Hope you enjoyed this post! Kisses!

Trying something new!

img_1681-1Ever since I dyed my virgin beautiful hair, it has never been the same. Comparing it with hay is and under statement! My hair became so thin and brittle that it started falling out and braking like nobodies business, mainly because I didn’t really know how to take care of my chemically fried hair. So after having it the longest I’ve ever had it, I decided to cut it to grow it healthy, well that didn’t work… Since I kept going to salons, my hair not only was exposed to high temperatures but also it expose to really harsh chemicals like SULFATES! So I decided to change my products for more “organic” ones and cut on the heat. So I did my research on sulfate-free products and this drugstore by the brand Organix one seems to be really good! According to the page you can…

It takes time to find your style!

If you’re like me and love fashion you would probably have found yourself lost in translation when it comes to your style. Following styles and trends can make it really hard to define and find your style, that’s why it takes time and a certain level of knowledge of who you are and what you want to portray that will allow you to find your true style.

For me when I was younger I used to follow all the trends and just be careless when it came to shopping, I would go into a store and just grab the first thing that would look pretty and not necessarily acknowledge pieces that I already have in my closet. After taking a look at my closet and realizing that nothing portrays a certain style I decided to start slowly but surely to change my closet with pieces that feel more me.

You must be asking yourself now, how do I figure out my style? well, the first thing I did was to take a look at my closet and see the pieces that I gravitated towards the most, like button down shirts, very basic and clean cuts, very structured pieces and neutral colors, and obviously my favorite a lot of Denim. I realized that those were the pieces that made me feel the most comfortable and confident,  So with all things together I feel that my style is Modern Minimal Classic! and Iove it! Getting to those pieces took time and a ton of trial and error, so don’t worry about it too much for now, it’ll come.  How about you? have you already found your personal style? did it take you time ti  figure out just like me.

Well, regardless of how close you are to your friends/family there are always things about your life, likes and dislikes that they might not necessarily get, understand or simply just don’t care. That’s why I decided to use this beautiful tool to connect with those of you who get it, understand it and care.

Having said that, my blog is basically a compilation of the things I enjoy most like fashion and style, interior design, DIY, music, books etc… Hope you enjoy and find interesting what I have to share with you all.
