Hello guys! I habe a new facebook page and I’d love to like and follow you all there to better keep track of you and you of me!
Hey guys! Today I wanted to write about something that has always sparked curiosity in me on how these companies think when selling their products. When I say package deal I am referring to those products in which you are sold a pack that includes 2 or more containers with products in which one acts on the other or one needs to be used after the other. Yeah cool , thanks for making it easier for us and selling them like that! But why if I am meant to use both products simultaneously, they don’t contain the same amount of product or the equivalent of its usage! For example:
Bleach and their developers, am I the only one who is always left with half of the creme bleach? I bet not. Same with teeth treatments, hair treatments, etc etc etc… So what is up with that? Any logical explanation?
If you know let me know in the comments below!
Hello my dear friends! I’ve been debating weather to make a post about this or not because as you may know I became a vegan on June 6th (if you didn’t know here is a post that talks about it) and this subscription has little to none vegan products so yeah. In the end I decided to make a review either way and finish those products and cancel my subscription.
Here is what was inside the bag. It was underwhelming at best! This particular bag was not in my taste whatsoever. the bright colors of the bag and the edginess where so not for me. the nail polish color is SO NOT for my skin color or of my taste like I clearly specified on the site. then there is the urban decay shadow, it is intense! I do like the color payoff but the color is very edgy. the blush/bronzer/highlighter little compact was sheer, and is not buildable. I have yet to try the mask because I haven’t had time for like… myself but I am looking forward to use them and lastly the color pop creme gel liner, I am currently using it and so far so good. that was the only thing I liked!
Some of these products are cruelty free but still have some products that contain animal substances in them therefor are not completely vegan.
If you got the bag let me know if you liked it or not! kisses and love,
For the past couple of day I’ve been in an adjustment phase due a to huge decision I’ve taken that will change my life for ever and is that… I’ve gone VEGAN you guys!
Let me tell you a little bit more of how that came to be. When June started, it became a really slow month of work at the place where I worked leaving me with a lot of time to watch YouTube and read a ton. so a as days went by and I watched videos, in my YouTube feed started appearing a ton of “what I eat in a day” videos and videos with the term “Vegan” in them. At first I paid no attention to the ones tittles vegan in them because I honestly wasn’t interested and watched the “WIEID” videos until one day I came across a video from JessBeautician (she is amazing and so sweet) and loved how lovely her meals were and they were all VEGAN! so I was like OK, this is kind of a sign… let me look into this thing! and started digging up on YouTube to see if someone was well informed to absorb all that knowledge and see what all that was all about!
In my search I came across a video from Carly Byble saying she has gone vegan, the reasons and thanking YouTubers Natasha and Luca “That Vegan Couple” for her conversion from vegetarian to full on vegan. As it was to be expected, I searched for their channel and was hocked! Everything they said was fed to you in such a kind and “I want to teach you” kind of way and I loved that! So I watched most of their videos and when I came across a video response they made directed to a misinformed girl that has P.C.O.S and claimed veganism made it worse, I felt like that video was specially made since I have that condition and have struggling for years with it, and that’s when it REALLY HIT! I thoroughly looked into the vegan lifestyle and saw the “Best Speech You Will Ever Hear – Gary Yourofsky” and it sealed the deal for me! It is a very graphic and very strong speech but it is filled with truth and facts about how it all works now, and how it is supposed to be working!
I am still in the Learning/Transitioning phase and will take time to learn all about it but I am 100% committed to it, I’ve cut out meat, dairy and eggs and it has been a great decision.
Hope this wasn’t too overwhelming for you guys but I felt like I had to share this with you. thank you so much for reading!
Like every single Pinterest obsessed girl, I’ve always wanted to try all the amazing “Hacks” that appear on my Pin Feed and one day I came across an easy one that I could start experimenting with without failing miserably. the Mascara hack consists on two options to get the most out of your dry mascara o use the little that is left on the tube by liquefying it.
The first option is using 5 to 8 drops of VISINE or some sort of eye-drops and shake it very well and then… MAGIC?… well I took my Estée Lauder sample size mascaras (perfect for travel makeup bags) and tried it! as you can see on the last picture, it kinda worked! it was sort of liquidy and sheer but it worked!
For the second one, it just required 5 minuted of your time and hot boiling water! as you can see, it didn’t work quite as well as I thought it might. Maybe I didn’t do it right and covered it to have the steam properly melt the product.. so I will try it again and let you know via Twitter!
This is more of an “I am in a hurry and ran out of mascara” kind of hack… I guess it is sort of useful if its night time and you have to go out. I liked it! and hope you like this post and let me know if you’ve tried it and if the worked for you!
You know those moments when you go into the store for ONE item and take more than one… well this is that moment for me. I ran out of mascara I needed a new one so I want to get my favorite one and OBVIOUSLY I skimmed through the whole isle and started picking stuff. in as short as the blink of an eye I had over 12 products on my hands and I was like… ok, what do I NEED!? and narrowed down to just five!
I will name all the products and give a little review of them.
- Maybelline – Touch Of Spice (660): this is the first time I try this lipstick and I liked it.The color was perfect on my and I also liked that even though it is has a matte finish is not super drying in my lips. (the bottom swatch)
2. Essie – Miss Fancy Pants: to be honest I wanted to get this in Chinchilly but they dint have it and this one came really close to it, so I grabbed it and tested it in one of my nails and it is really pretty. I am not sure if they changed the formula or what, but it dried super fast! and I did two coats of it since it is super sheer. I am loving it, let’s see how long it lasts.
3. Ruby Kisses, Pure mineral Concealer – Rich Beige (or rich caramel): this product I’ve been using for a month or so and I swear to you, it is AMAZING. Since I go for more of a daily fresh natural look and I crease like cray, this tames down the imperfections without being to heavy. For the under eyes, I do have to set it with translucent powder because it is of a creamy consistency.
4. Rimmel Kate moss lipstick – #14: So when I saw this at the store I was super excited because I’ve been looking for a color like this for a while. I swatchds it on my hands and it gave me the beautiful color I was expecting but once I tried it on my lips when I got home… it was to sheer for my taste. T he consistency is pretty good, very creamy and hydrating on the lips.
5. Covergirl – Lash Blast Volume mascara: This is an old favorite all that needed to be said a bout this mascara has been said! XD
Hope you liked this little haul and my comments on these! if you have tried them before, let me know that you think about them! Kisses!
Well… since my body is not completely fit, I’ll limit the bare nakedness to just my face. If you follow me on twitter you’d already know that I’ve been wanting to take more care of my skin and investing more on my skin care products rather than make up since I’m aiming to achieve a flawless (or close to it) skin.
It’s no secret and I fell like it should be common knowledge that the better the canvas the better the painting, right? well this is true. There is nothing that look prettier than a foundation that sits beautifully on perfectly smooth skin. I know I know, it is hard to get and sometimes as years go by and we grow older we are left with scaring from our teenage breakouts and pigmentation from being exposed in the sun. Well ladies, is time to work on those!
I’ve been studying my behavior for a while to know what is breaking me out from now and then AND why my skin feels heavy and clogged sometimes. After a while I noticed that i touched my face with my dirty dirty hands A LOT and that my face wash was to thick for my skin and not removing all the makeup. Also the inevitable period (I hate it so much) that happens monthly gets those hormones going and break me out. so I figure that the better prepared was the quicker those bad boys will go.
As I did my research I noticed I was skipping a good lot of steps and it was mainly because I didn’t really know what was what and when to use them. So here is what I found out I should be using:
FACE WASH: is to remove deeper seated debris and also cleanse pores, thanks to its foaming action. If you’re wearing a lot of makeup, or have been exposed to a lot of dust and pollution, it might be a good idea to use a cleanser first, before using a face wash.
CLEANSER: is a facial care product that is used to remove make-up, dead skin cells, oil, dirt, and other types of pollutants from the skin of the face. This helps to unclog pores and prevent skin conditions such as acne.
TONER: In cosmetics, skin toner or simply toner refers to a lotion or wash designed to cleanse the skin and shrink the appearance of pores, usually used on the face. Toners can be applied to the skin in different ways: On damp cotton wool. (This is the most frequently used method.)
FACIAL SCRUB: can make your skin feel beautiful, youthful, soft, and glowing. Unlike a regular soap or cleanser, a facial scrub uses small particles, beads, or chemicals to get rid of the old skin cells and make way for new ones in a process known as exfoliation.
MOISTURIZER: For oily skin, moisturizers can still be useful after activities causing skin dryness, such as other skin care products and washing. For oily skin, water-based moisturizers that are specifically non-comedogenic are preferable, as there is less risk of comedo formation.
These above are on my to buy list! and you can find them all at FARFETCH.COM I am loving this site, it gives you all the information on the products you are going to buy so that you are completely sure of what you are going to get!
Hope you enjoyed this post! Kisses!
On work days I try to let my face rest as much as possible and not use makeup because the skin needs to breath for it not to break out.
As ugly and tired as I might look in that photo (just woke up😅) I am really proud of how well I’ve been taking care of my face! I have little break put, spots or blemishes. It is completly normal to have a couple, it will all depend in genetics and your diet.
This are the products that I use to achieve my very very subtle makeup that makes me look more awake. I want to clear out that I don’t do the makeup part this every single day, just the days when my skin is showing all the veins in my face (yeah i know, weird) specially on my cheeks.
As soon as I wake up I wash my face while the water heaters is doing its job with this Himalaya Herbal Oil Clear Foaming wash, followed by my Ponds Bio-Hydrating cream to let is soak in while I shower.
After that I use my E.L.F Tinted Moisturizer in the color SAND. I love this product because is very light and does exactly what I want that is to even out my skin tone and hide this veins. To that I apply this shimmery bronzer from AMUSE (can see the name) to my cheeks and to light up my eyes I apply this E.L.F jumbo pen in the most beautiful shimmery gold color.
For my lips I use in a little amount this lipsticks from MILANI in the color Matte Beauty, its a lovely nude color that compliments my skin tone.
And that is it for my everyday makeup for work! I feel like it gives me a glowy look with out being too obvious. hope you enjoyed it!
